True One Minute™ Contact Time

The Infection Control industry refers to the longest required Kill Time for any pathogen listed on an EPA-accepted disinfectant label, as Contact Time.  Because ReadoutUSA™ product labels instruct that a surface must remain wet for just one minute to kill ALL pathogens listed on their labels, the formula in ALL our products and its Contact Time, can be considered True One Minute™.

Disinfectants in the US are regulated by the EPA, and following EPA-accepted disinfectant label instructions is a legal necessity to protect users AND patients. Product exposure conditions apply to both the exposure of users to the labeled disinfectant, as well as the surfaces and pathogens the user exposes it to.  Therefore, the instructions in the Directions For Use section of a label are as critical to follow as those in the Precautionary Statements, and First Aid sections! As if preventing injuries weren’t enough motivation, liability is another reason to carefully read such labels.

COVID-19 Efficacy

Readout™ Virucidal Disinfectant participates in the EPA Emerging Viral Pathogens Program (EVP). On January 29, 2020, the EPA triggered that program in response to the worldwide spread of SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19. In so doing, the EPA recognized all EVP products as being effective against SARS-CoV-2. These products are contained in EPA List-N on the EPA website. List-N only contains the master registrations upon which most branded products are based. (i.e. 88494-3 and 88494-4)

Our products will not damage most surfaces, including steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, plastics, fiberglass, vinyl, and most painted surfaces.  Our formula doesn’t oxidize, degrade, or yellow surfaces or leave a residue like formulas with Bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide, or much higher Quat concentrations, and actually cleans up their residue!  Readout™ Virucidal Disinfectant Wipes are also compliant with the CDC Guideline For Disinfection and Sterilization Of Healthcare Facilities as a broad spectrum healthcare surface disinfectant.

One Step Clean and Disinfect

ReadoutUSA™ products clean and disinfect visibly unsoiled surfaces in one step.  Competing two-step products require one application to clean, and another to disinfect; causing you to use twice as much! It is registered with the EPA for use without pre-cleaning, (in most circumstances) and has been tested under organic load in order to meet the One Step cleaning and disinfection requirements of the US EPA.

Several other products require that any surface, even one that appears to be clean, be wiped with one wipe before disinfecting with another.  That’s two wipes just to disinfect a surface that is visibly clean.  Those two step products waste time and money, compared with a genuine EPA registered One Step product such as the ones that we offer.

Low Toxicity, Low Odor
